Position: Human Resources Coordinator
Salary Range: $4,785.00/month - $6,410.00/month; Starting Salary DOQ, DOE

Brief Duties and Responsibilities: Position provides coordination, support, and guidance in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of the Human Resources/Risk
Management Department. Duties require knowledge and application of County personnel practices and procedures, human resources functions, and general human resources/risk management principles and
guidelines. Work involves contact with the general public, other public agencies, elected officials and department heads and their employees. The position requires strong interpersonal and organizational
skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers. Confidentiality is essential in this position.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Position has no supervisory responsibility; however, the position provides guidance and facilitation for all departments, their elected officials, administrators, supervisors and staff members on human resources activities and functions.
Working Environment/Physical Abilities: Work is performed in an office setting. Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds and sit for extended periods of time. Physical abilities required for this position are ones typically related to office operations, manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate personal computers and other office equipment; accessing file cabinets; and sufficient hearing
and speech ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Minimum Qualifications: Education And Experience: Two (2) year college degree with emphasis in Human Resources, office administration (or comparable) or certificate in Human Resources, office assistant, executive assistant or administrative assistant plus two (2) years’ experience in human resources environment; OR four (4) years of progressive experience in human resources or an office administration environment. Risk Management experience desired. Bi-lingual preferred.
Licenses And Other Requirements: Must successfully pass a background check and a driving record check. Valid driver’s license. Excellent communication skills and confidentiality are required. Must be bondable and required to become a notary within six (6) months of hire.
