Position: Office Manager
Salary Range: $5,535 to $7,418 per month; Starting Salary DOQ, DOE
Location Prosecuting Attorney’s Office
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week); FLSA exempt (depending on final salary, the position may be overtime eligible pursuant to Washington State Department of Labor and Industries’ minimum salary rule)

Brief Duties and Responsibilities: The Office Manager has the duty and responsibility of the oversight of the non-attorney staff of the Criminal and Civil divisions of the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Position supports and coordinates various aspects of Prosecuting Attorney Office activities including front office and attorney support. Provides oversight responsibility for implementation of office policies and compliance with personnel record keeping requirements for the department, attorneys, and staff. The Office Manager must be able to perform the same functions as the Legal Assistant III, and, in addition, must be able to manage all payroll, budget and staff supervision functions of the office.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervision of Assistant Office Manager, Legal Assistants and other non-attorney staff.
Working Environment/Physical Abilities: Work is normally performed in an office and courtroom setting. Must be able to sit for extended periods; stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 20 pounds. Required to have visual and hearing acuity and manual dexterity to perform the functions of the position. Ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance.
Minimum Qualifications: Education And Experience: Education and experience associated with applicable college Associate Degree or certifications in office operations/management and five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative support applicable to the position and that includes supervision experience. Legal office experience and/or vocational training required.
Licenses And Other Requirements: Must successfully pass a criminal background check and a driving record check. Must be eligible to obtain license as a Notary Public.
